Transit Planning

Riding the bus with MET is super easy! Just follow these 3 steps:
1) Wave Hand – When you’re ready to get on, wave your hand at any street corner on a route to let the driver know. They’ll stop to pick you up!
2) Get On – When the bus stops, hop on! Pay your fare, find a seat, and get comfy for the ride.
3) Request Stop – Pull the STOP cord one block before your stop. Cross the street safely!
MET Transit Launches Restructured Routes!
Key improvements include:
- Inbound and Outbound Buses: The introduction of both inbound and outbound buses significantly improves route efficiency and frequency.
- Multiple Transfer Points: Riders now have more options for transferring between routes, with additional transfer points established outside of Central Transfer.
- Enhanced Service: MET Transit aims to attract new riders by offering more direct service, faster travel times, and increased flexibility.

MET Transit Study
MET Transit, in collaboration with SRF Consulting Group, has completed a Transit Study that evaluated restructured routes, hours of service, after-hours service, community needs, and overall efficiency. A detailed summary of the findings will be made available to the public at a later date.
